Bosch - PRAESENSA

The new Bosch Public Address and Voice Alarm System goes IP – PRAESENSA sets new industry benchmark.

All components of the system are networked, thereby ensuring the highest flexibility and scalability from small centralized to large decentralized systems. The Bosch OMNEO* IP architecture supports DanteTM audio networking, AES67 and AES70 protocol.

The innovative multi-channel amplifier architecture with intelligent power allocation across the amplifier outputs and integrated spare channel significantly improves the effective utilization of available power, regardless of the loudspeaker load in each zone. As a result, fewer amplifiers are needed, saving up to 50 percent on space, energy and backup battery power and leading to a very competitive cost of ownership.

PRAESENSA offers special features for highest level of data security and full network link redundancy with smart integration of functions and backup facilities. No single point of failure is core to the system concept and only a few different devices are needed to fulfill all system and user needs.

Dante Enabled PRAESENSA components:

PRA-SCL, the system controller, manages all system related functions in a PRAESENSA Public Address and Voice Alarm system.

PRA-AD604 & PRA-AD608 are multi-channel, 600w, power amplifiers for 100 V or 70 V loudspeaker systems.

PRA-CSLW & PRA-CSLD are the call stations, both hand-held and gooseneck style, for the PRAESENSA system. These microphones come equipped with an LCD touch screen and are designed for ergonomic customizability.
